This 2010 Ferrari California is presented in the luxurious colour combination of Azzuro blue with Crema leather interior.
The California is considered by many to be a bold move by the designers at Pininfarina, as it changed so many conventional designs we are all accustomed to with the Ferrari brand.
For the first time Ferrari used a front engined V8 4.3 litre naturally aspirated engine, which has an impressive 0-60mph time of 3.8 seconds and pushes 453bhp.
The impressive features don’t end there as the California has a 7 speed dual-clutch transmission and for the first time Ferrari featured a hard top convertible with a folding metal roof, which can deploy in 14 seconds (see the video below for the roof functioning).
Being number 171,867 from the Ferrari production line this example shows 4 previous owners on the logbook and has around 64,218 miles on the speedometer. Backed with FSH, which can be seen below in the document section this car is mechanically sound and ready to be enjoyed by the new owner. ( add more for recent service)
The car still has a valid MOT till Dec 2021, and shows the mileage history adds up accordingly with the service history.
BODYWORK & INTERIOR
Although 11 years old the paintwork on this beautiful Ferrari California still shines well with very minimal stone chips, if any at all. The paintwork appears to be all original and there are no noticeable dents or scratches anywhere indicating this is a looked after example.
The Crema interior is as clean as the outside and against that Azurro blue paint brings a huge smile on your face,
Under the ownership of the most recent owner this particular California has benefited from an upgraded sound system, which the specs are as follows:
Audision Voce 6.5 speakers
JL Audio 5 channel amp
JL Audio 10” subwoofer
One of the nicest features on this car is the F1 style steering wheel, with the paddle shifters and acceleration lights on the steering wheel – it truly is a work of fine Italian craftsmanship and makes you feel like you are in an F1 car.
All 4 wheels of this California could do with a refurb, however even in their current state they show up well and do not take anything away from this car.
The Ferrari California strikes a fine balance of being a Grand Tourer and yet a stylish sports car that has the added benefit of having back seats to put the kids in, your pet dog, golf clubs or perhaps the wife’s shopping bags.
Whatever the use, this car is impressive and this example presents a great opportunity to become part of the Ferrari owners club.
