THE ITEM

This striking little monster presented in Interlagos blue needs no introduction and first appeared on the global stage in 2006 sharing the same S54 straight six engine found in it’s bigger brother the E46 M3.

Although small in stature the powerful 3.2 litre engine under the bonnet should alone capture the heart of true BMW enthusiasts, pushing a nice 338BHP this pocket rocket is not one to be messed with.

Achieving a 0-60mph time of just 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 155mph, it is safe to say this car is guaranteed to leave you smiling and wanting more.

SERVICE HISTORY

The Z4M currently has 78k miles and comes with BMW/Specialist service history. It was last serviced at 70K miles, receiving an inspection 2 along with new discs and pads.

A quick check on the MOT history shows the mileage adds up and has had very little use over the last few years averaging a mere 5k a year.  The most recent MOT was on 15th March 2021, which means the car can be picked up and enjoyed right away by the new owner right in time for the summer.

VERDICT

With a sensible reserve the M Roadster lives up with BMW’s reputation of being “The Ultimate Driving Machine”.

In our opinion the 6 cylinder naturally aspirated engine, along with the manual gearbox and the sound of that fabulous quad exhaust presents a stunning opportunity to own a fun M sport car for not a lot of money. We think it is fair to say it will be hard to find a better car in this price category.
