THE VEHICLE
The BMW E93 M3 was produced in 2008 and the last models left the production line in 2013. Being the successor to the iconic E46 model, it had some pretty big shoes to fill, and BMW made sure not to hold back.
The E90 range would be the first and last M3 to receive a naturally aspirated 4.0 litre V8 engine packed with 414bhp, the convertible version is capable of achieving 0-62mph in 5.1 seconds and top speeds of 155mph.
This example is rather special and certainly one for the collectors – being a limited 1 of 500, low mileage example with full BMW service history, this left the production line in July 2013 making it one of the last ones made. Unfortunately the private plate is no longer available with the car, but can be purchased separately by serious buyers. The car is now on registration NX13URJ

SERVICE HISTORY
In today’s market it is very hard to find a clean and honest example of any BMW M3 – luckily this one has full BMW service History (please review the document section below for the main dealer logs)
Service intervals have taken place at the following mileage:
- 22nd May 2015 – 16,286 miles
- 4th June 105 – 16,322 miles
- 17th August 2016 – 23,495 miles
- 14th January 2019 – 41,417 miles
- 7th June 2019 – 42,633 miles
- 28th August 2020 – 47,061 miles
- 1st July 2021 – 48,881 miles
- 22nd September 2022 – 49,675 miles
In addition the latest service carried out was completed at the BMW main dealer at a cost of £1345.82. During this service interval the current owner also asked the technicians to inspect the throttle actuators and they did confirm they do not need replacing as this is a very clean unmolested example.
Current mileage is 49,575, which means this car is instantly available to enjoy without the stress of requiring any services in the near future.
BODYWORK & INTERIOR
For a car that recently celebrated its 10th birthday, it still looks in very good condition with no dents or scratches to the bodywork. The current owner has meticulously looked after the car regardless of cost, and as such it benefits from ceramic coating to help maintain that pristine look.
In addition the following modifications have been made to the car:
- 1.75 exhaust back mod with black exhaust tips
- Tinted windows
- Tinted lights on both the back and front
- Rear spoiler
- Side mirrors in black
- Blacked out badges
Inside the car the red interior presents very well and has minimal wear with no dents or fading to the leather. The owner will also provide a bespoke weatherproof car cover to come with the sale.
WHEELS
Being a limited edition model the wheels are painted in black from factory – one wheel does have some kerb damage to it shown in the pictures, however this could easily be repaired and does not impact the car.
VERDICT
In our opinion the BMW E93 M3 is one of the most well rounded cars ever made providing plenty of power, style and presence on the road. Being a hardtop convertible means this car can be enjoyed all year long regardless of the weather.
Finding clean examples are becoming rare and whilst this version has had some modifications (all of which could be reversed by the new owner), this presents a wonderful opportunity to own a nice honest example with the perfect plate to match.
In recent years the prices of the E90’s continue to rise and with this example being a limited edition with the added benefit of the perfect plate to match the car, we believe this would be a good investment for any potential buyer. As for value for money, there aren’t many cars that can provide this much joy in this price range.
